Biography

Ran Milman | Israeli Ministry of Health, Israel 

Ran Milman leads national efforts on artificial intelligence within Israel’s Digital Health Division at the Israeli Ministry of Health, focusing on creating an environment for the safe, effective, and ethical adoption of AI in healthcare. He advances the national AI Regulatory Sandbox for Healthcare, co-develops guidelines for Institutional Review Boards on AI-driven research, and leads the AI Implementers Forum, a community promoting best practices for AI implementation across health organisations.

Ran led national programs supporting pilots and research in digital health, co-authored national guides for evaluating digital health technologies and economic evaluations of digital health services, and co-develops an academic course with Tel Aviv University on digital health evaluation and management.

He represents Israel in the OECD Expert Group on AI in Health and the IMDRF AI/ML Working Group, contributing to global efforts to advance trustworthy and responsible AI governance.

Annie Saha is the Assistant Director for the Digital Health Center of Excellence (DHCoE) at the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH). She leads efforts in regulatory science, partnerships, and operations to support digital health innovation and equity.

Mr Pat Baird

Pat Baird is the Head of Global Software Standards at Philips, where he leads international efforts to develop regulatory frameworks and standards for software and artificial intelligence in healthcare.
